My fiance and I would LOVE to get married in Jamaica. We have been looking online for places and a beach wedding would be nice, but also a wedding in the mountains looks absolutely breath taking. Any recommendations? Help!

I've been working with a few companies. They work with your budget and help you get exactly what you are looking for.

One is Miles Morgan: www.milesmorgantravel.co.uk.

I found them by searching on yahoo for beach weddings.

The other company i found by going to an expo in London. Next time one is on you should try and go- they are so useful. This company is called Travel Designers and the lady i am dealing with, Althea, she used to live in Jamaica, i think. She specialises in Caribbean weddings and she has found a wonderful hotel for us called Half Moon in Montego bay- the hotel is quite expensive but they are very willing to try and bring their prices down.

I hope this helps, and if i can help with anything else, let me know.

Greetings,

Our marriage lic is lovely and full of color due to our wedding in Jamaica.

We wanted a no kid location so picked Hedo III at Runaway Bay. What a great place! Now, Hedo is for ppl who are very happy with who they are and who love a good time going well into the night. I take ear plugs with me so I can sleep if I crash out before 2am the party is so good. YEA HEDO.. ok, so you know where I go. yea, nude side is best place to be.

That said, Breezes right down the bay does more weddings. My wife and the boys just came home from a week there and I am told that two a day seemed to be happening on the beach there. The night life was not as good as Hedo but the swimming right off the beach was better with more fish to see and feed. You can get an evening pass to Hedo for free by the way.

Hope that helps a bit.

you will love the time you spend there. When we arrive the passport ppl see all the stamps , smile and say "Welcome Home"

Yep, Jamaican once or twice a year for a week, thats us

I agree with everyone who said sandals Resorts. But there is another hidden treasure out there Which offers free weddings with a min. of a 3 night stay and if you stay 7 nights they wave the $200 document fee. The resort is Breezes Runaway Bay. I just recently booked a Destination Wedding there, they have such great deals going now, including 1 free night, plus if you have family and Friends that would like to go they offer group rates. There beach chapel is the best place to say I do. Keisha the wedding planner at the resort is the best and the greatest to work with. If you have any questions please let me know.

I like the big old Anglican cathedrals in Kingston like St.Marks. Or old stone churches like St. Margaret's. Then there's Trinity Catholic Church filled with magnificent old stained glass and murals. The music is awesome, the people so glad to see you.

There's many lovely churches in the hills around Montego Bay, Port Antonio, and Kingston. Mandeville has many fine old churches, too.

But you might even enjoy getting married on the beach. The beach is pretty.

get married in blue mountains. AMAZING! and there are crazy hotels in the area (Strawberry hills etc) that can provide a beautiful reception and place to stay. AFTERRRR your wedding you can travel to the country side and have your honeymoon in negril or anywhere else on the north coast. this way yuo get the best of both worlds.

AWW...i love weddings:)

Hope you have a great time and life together!

Its so many beautiful places that you can go. Ocho Rios, Montego BAy Negril...You are a lucky woman! WOW. However, many couples choose sandals all the time. They have everything set up for you!

i would say do the wedding by the beach. sandals offers great weddingmoon packages, so you should look into that. (if it's not sandals, it's beaches, sorry if i got that wrong but it's one of those).
