I am going there in late March for one week with one of my classes (I'm a college student). We'll be working with our sister school down there. Before I go, I want to know what the weather is like there in late March so I can pack appropriately. Is it sunny in late March? Does it rain and/or thunder a lot in late March? What are the temperatures?

Regardless of the weather, I am so looking forward to this trip!

Hot & humid....the weather doesn't change alot daytime, even winter days are 80-85o...just nights are cooler in winter, but March will be hot.

I pack for our March trip with shorts, a big hat and one long pants for going to diner in. Last time in a whole week only one rain shower on the north coast. Lots of sun screen. LOTS of it and use it.

I only drink the water at the resort so as your not going to be at a resort you may want to check with others who have been where your going about the water supply for drinking. The temps when we were there and will be in March 2010 lows in the HIGH 70s to low 80s on the coast, cooler in the Mtn.'s

Enjoy your trip.

Here in Jamaica it usually sunny and the climate warm. March is a great time of year to visit since it not during our hurricane or rainy season. So you don't have to worry about excessive rain or thunderstorms. What to wear in Jamaica? I would suggest light clothing, shorts and sleeveless is good.

It is hot in March time.. So I would bring short sleaved clothes and shorts and flip flops.. you need sun cream, lots of water.. But I would bring a few pairs of winter clothes cuz the weather can change it is very unpridictable....

I went there in September and I had a wonderful time..... I hope you have a good time too :) .x
