Hurricane season peaks around August or so but actually begins earlier. In March you should have "no problem, mon." Go to TripAdvisor.com and type in either your resort or the city you are staying in the search area. Then look for other attractions. Most tourists stay away from Kingston. Maybe it is more reputation than truth but Kingston is known as a high crime area. Again, go to TripAdvisor.com and look around. You can learn a LOT at that site. Have a great trip.

Hurricane season in the Atlantic occur between May 15 to November 30. The peak season occur around June and October.
Negril is beautiful and is quite beautiful for it's sunsets. Ocho Rios has Dunn's River Falls, quite beautiful, and Montego Bay has Rose Hall.
All in all the north coast has a lot of places to see and go, and is a lot more beautiful than Kingston.
Have fun!

Hurrican season is largely limited to June, July, August, and September. There are exceptions. Try Montego Bay, Negril, or Ocho Rios for beautiful beaches. Kingston is very crowded and not an island retreat.
